Atlus today released the official full trailer for Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition, the XBLA exclusive.  The trailer, which offers gamers their best look yet at the world of Zenozoik, also brings more attention to the game's narrative, an oft-overlooked aspect of what makes Zeno Clash a unique, can't-miss experience.

XBLA Exclusive"Discussions about Zeno Clash tend to focus on the game's fantasticly satisfying first-person melee combat and hauntingly gorgeous art direction, but often overlook one of the game's greatest strengths: its story," stated Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales for Atlus.  "With powerful themes of deception, revenge, and redemption, a creative non-linear chronology of events, and set within a fully-realized world inhabited by outlandish albeit believable creatures, Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition delivers, quite appropriately, one heck of a knockout punch.  Gamers will be hard pressed to find a better, more substantial offering, not to mention a better value."

Beyond its core strengths, Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition also boasts a number of significant additions and enhancements over the game's original release.  Cooperative split-screen and online multiplayer for the game's Tower and Pit Challenges lets players fight side-by-side, and online leaderboards let pugilists put their punching proficiency to the test.  New weapons and melee moves expand the game's already deep combat, while tweaks to the controls and optimizations to the engine make beating the crap out of enemies even more enjoyable.  In short, it's called "Ultimate Edition" for a reason.

Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition for Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 is scheduled to release in Spring 2010.

looks like crap in the graphics and the gameplay looks like a poor man's breakdown from the original Xbox.
