Starhawk Review - Glitch Cat 16 May 2012 | 6:49 pm
Despite it’s weak story, Starhawk excels at everything else it sets out to achieve. It provides a unique, robust multiplayer component, filled with original ideas and unique gameplay. This game has the legs to last in the over-saturated multiplayer market,...
Prototype 2 Review - Glitch Cat 16 May 2012 | 6:00 pm
At the end of the day, Prototype 2 is a very solid open-world action game. Although the plot is boring and the lack of gameplay variety is evident early on, it’s not really a big issue. Full of explosive action,...

Itagaki to Appear Exclusively at Microsoft's E3 Press Conference

E-mail Print PDF

While everyone has been wondering what the next game from Itagaki Tomonobu and his new Valhalla Game Studios will be, another big question has been whether or not the game in question will follow in the foot steps of Itagaki's past titles and be exclusive to a Microsoft console. We may have our answer.

Itagaki SanIt looks like Valhalla Game Studios has contracted former Xbox Community Manager Chris Paladino and his new company Promethium Marketing to handle the game company's North American marketing. From what we've heard this is only for conventions/expos and digital PR (web media and press releases). Everything else such as printed and televised advertisements will be handled by the publisher of Valhalla's game. And from the rumblings coming out of Promethium, it looks like it could be Microsoft. This is based on rumblings from the marketing company that Itagaki will appear exclusively at Microsoft's E3 press conference to announce Valhalla Game Studios' first title.

So while we still wait on details about the new game, we finally have some details about what platform it will appear on. This doesn't mean the game will be exclusive to Xbox 360, since key developers and publishers often appear at one console manufacturer's press conference, but nothing was mentioned about the PS3. All we know is that we can't wait to hear what Itagaki has to say on the big stage.

Microsoft!?
could be exclusive:/

then again he said it will sell 4 million so it has to be multi.

However I have a good feeling it's going multi. Itagaki has dropped his old ways now.
You can tell.

Domo Itagaki. He vucks the Japanese trend and goes with the best hardware. He knows the 360 and has proven to deliver on it with NG2 and DoA4.
