505 Games and Warner Bros. Interactive today announced Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore for the Nintendo DS will hit retail in July 2010. Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore the videogame is based on the upcoming Warner Bros. movie of the same name. So you know it's good stuff, eek.

505 GamesIn Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore the videogame, gamers will get to play as multiple characters from the film in over 45 covert missions across various locations and environments inspired by the film. Gamers can play as a rookie canine agent, a super feline double agent or a streetwise pigeon, each armed with their own set of skills. Players must utilize the unique abilities and gadgets of each character to defeat the evil Kitty Galore and her minions.

“Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is a hilarious action-platformer game that draws upon the high-tech gadgetry and high-stakes espionage taking place in the eternal underground war between cats and dogs,” said Adam Kline, president of 505 Games. “With the immense success of the first film and the vast audience and following of the franchise, this game is sure to secure a prominent place in what will be a long future for Cats & Dogs.”

In Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, players fight Kitty Galore’s agents of evil to save the day and send the bad guys packing. Players will have to utilize their animalistic acrobatics and AI “Animal Intelligence” to make their way through various levels and obstacles and collect critical items and power-ups, which will unlock new areas as they progress through the game. They will also be challenged by a number of covert missions including helping stool pigeons carry out their air-based special operations and destroying Kitty Galore’s treacherous equipment. Featuring six different mission types, including escort, stealth and combat, the game promises to deliver on all the excitement of the film, leading to the big showdown with Kitty Galore.

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, and will be available at retail outlets nationwide in July 2010.
