Gamers who have paid for the "downloadable content" for BioShock 2 are pretty upset after finding out it's not really downloadable content since it is already on the disc. While many sites have reported their suspicions about the ripoff, users from 2K's official forums are posting proof today.
Many Go Fanboy members posted concerns about the possibility of this happening after 2K announced the DLC well before the release of the title. Why companies do this is beyond us. Even more disconcerting is that the console companies allow it to happen. They are getting a cut of this. So who do you blame? We say you blame both the publisher and the console you're downloading on.
Below is an image provided by 2K forums user "doomed" which shows the extremely small size of the "DLC" which essentially is nothing more than an unlock to content on the disc. It basically equals 23KB on PC, 108KB on Xbox 360 and 103KB on PlayStation 3. Should you pay more for content you already bought?
