Go Fanboy - Everyone Has A Favorite

TERA review | SelectButton 16 May 2012 | 7:51 pm
Kevin of SelectButton.com sat down with this new MMO to take a spin with what may "change the face of MMO gaming." The other staff members managed to pry him away long enough to get this review from him.
Looking forward to the zombie survival game The Last of Us? So is Leviathyn.com's Cassidee Moser. So much so that she lists her top five reasons for being excited. This PS3 exclusive is looking better and better with every new...
Starhawk Review - Glitch Cat 16 May 2012 | 6:49 pm
Despite it’s weak story, Starhawk excels at everything else it sets out to achieve. It provides a unique, robust multiplayer component, filled with original ideas and unique gameplay. This game has the legs to last in the over-saturated multiplayer market,...
Prototype 2 Review - Glitch Cat 16 May 2012 | 6:00 pm
At the end of the day, Prototype 2 is a very solid open-world action game. Although the plot is boring and the lack of gameplay variety is evident early on, it’s not really a big issue. Full of explosive action,...

Sega Saturn Fanboy Turns His Car Into Sega Box Art Rally Car

E-mail Print PDF

An extreme game fan, who happens to put every fanboy to shame, over at the AtariAge forums has done something every Sega fanboy has had wet dreams about since the Sega Saturn. He's turned his old Celica into the original SEGA Rally cover vehicle that was made famous on boxart for the Saturn.

The forum user aptly named "DaytonaUSA" took his plain white '95 Toyota Celica and, with the use of extra parts and professionally made decals, he turned his ride into the sexy '95 Toyota Celica ST205 GT-Four from SEGA Rally.

While this Toyota certainly looks the part, the car isn't modded enough to really be the rally car from the era. But the great thing is that DaytonaUSA didn't make this car to be a rally car, he did it for the love of SEGA Rally and for his love of the Saturn; the guy's forum status is "Sega Saturn for life", need I say more?

But there is some (slightly) sad news at the end of this.  The car has already been sold.

It appears that very shortly after making the modifications to his Celica, DaytonaUSA went on to sell the car.  However, it does mean that if anyone in the New York area sees a '95 Celica with large 'SEGA' and 'Castrol' decals over it, then that is the car.

Unfortunately I can't find the original thread on AtariAge that contains the original pictures posted. Of course I didn't spend a lot of time searching. I was too busy drooling.

Another bonus is that this car is pre-Crazy-Toyota. So no worries about sticking accelerators.
