There have been a lot of great games to hit our game consoles so far this year, but as we all know, for every hit game that gets released, there are a bunch of stinkers. Among the piles of shovelware that reach retail shelves and land in innocent gamer’s consoles are a select few games that can be considered the worst. Now that we’ve passed the halfway point of 2010, we decided to compile a list of the absolute worst games to release so far this year.
Iron Man 2
This one was a given considering it’s a movie-based title and we all remembered the stinker that was the first game. Poor Robert Downey Jr. would be better off going back to doing drugs instead of starring in this game. Just like the original, it’s boredom from the very start. Sadly, SEGA just keeps buying up the rights to the Marvel flicks, which means we’ll be seeing a ton more of these.
Prison Break: The Conspiracy
Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer before it, Prison Break got a game dedicated to it well after the series was off the air. Unlike Buffy though, this game lacked anything remotely close to fun. The fact that you don’t play as any of the stars hurt this game right out of the gate and then the combat was horrible to boot.
