Video games are packed with a lot of outrageous and interesting characters. One of the most intriguing things about gaming is that male gamers never have a problem playing as women. Maybe that’s because the female characters aren’t designed to look tough like the male characters.
Female characters are designed to be hot. We’ve picked the five hottest female characters in video games.
Kasumi
Kasumi is probably one of the most popular characters in the fighting genre. This is as much due to her appearance as it is the game she’s in. Kasumi is a female ninja. That alone should be enough to make her hot. Kasumi appears in all of the Dead or Alive titles and also in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on the PS3, where she appeared after Ayane defeated one boss and appeared at the end when she meets Ryu. Kasumi is considered by many as the “girl next door” of the Dead or Alive girls.

Chun-Li was first introduced in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. She has since appeared as a player character in every single Street Fighter game produced since. Her name is Mandarin for “beautiful spring”. Chun Li’s role varies, but is often that of an undercover agent. She was also played by Kristin Kreuk in the recent box office flop Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.

Mai Shiranui has appeared in both the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters fighting franchises by the legendary SNK (aka SNK Playmore). She became one of the most popular fighting females because she typically wears exceptionally low-cut blouses, dresses, and clothing to maximize the exposure of her cleavage. Not many male gamers will complain about that. Most fight scenes involving Mai include several shots that focus especially on her breasts and buttocks. For this reason, we all should give a respectful bow to SNK.

Isabella Valentine, or as most of us know her- Ivy, is from the Soul video game franchise. Originally created by Namco's Project Soul division, she first appeared in the original Soul Calibur (the second title in the series after Soul Blade) and each of the sequels that followed. She’s the illegitimate daughter of undead pirate Cervantes de Leon. So she’s got some daddy issues which explains why she chooses to do combat in the least amount of clothes possible. Some news sources like MSNBC argue that Ivy’s busty appearance goes "too far”. We say that is bull. We want more.

Samus Aran is the star of the Metroid franchise introduced way back in the original 1986 Metroid. She’s a female bounty hunter, which of course is automatically hot, and usually is wearing an armor suit with weapons that include beams and missiles. Samus has appeared in tons of Metroid games with another on the way. She was also featured in all three games in the Super Smash Bros. series of multiplayer fighting games. Samus gets bonus points for being one of the first major female leads in video games.

Comments
YES she's in Smash Bros, but that's more of a loophole than anything.
Especially considering the wide array of girls in fighters.
Tekken was never mentioned, odd.
Virtua Fighter was never mentioned, odd.
BlazBlue NEEDED to be mentioned.
Again, it's an ok list. Just stuck out as "obvious" choices.
Play more fighters.
