I was just wondering if anyone actually plays (buys) indie games off Xbox LIVE. The reason I'm wondering is because they don't seem to be the highest quality titles. Obviously they aren't AAA games. I get that. But some are downright LAME! What are your thoughts? Maybe there are some good indie games worth checking out? Fill everyone else in.

Never bought one.
Some looked interesting like "I made a game with zombies in it" and Kodu Game lab.

Buuuut most are garbage "oh boy a FIREPLACE for my 360! Just what I needed!"

Hey. I have, or had/did. Some can be just cheap thrills. But for the prices, that's their intent. I haven't bought any since I got my 360 back. But that is only due to nothing that great coming out lately. The OP said he knows the games are AAA titles. That is the point. Now the fireplace and snowball games or dropping your avatar games may be completely pointless, but one thing is certain - Someone is buying them because they keep coming out.

They keep coming out because these little developers want to get their names out there and they're willing to sign their souls over to Microsoft to do it.

I did buy Avatar Drop , and plan to buy Arkedo 03 PIXEL next time I pick up points. PIXEL deserves attention and one of the few XNA games that can be said about.

I haven't had the time to really even try them. Usually when I power up my 360 it's just to play something I'm sent. There are some cute looking games. I like snowball fights. Plus you could be playing a game by someone today who will be the next Miyamoto ?
